Terms and conditions
Who we are
The Charity Vouchers service was set up by a not-for-profit company, Anglia Giving,
established to run the service with funds donated
specifically for the purpose. Anglia Giving Limited is registered in England, company no.
04441647 and has its registered office at 6 The Pightle, Burnham Thorpe, Norfolk,
PE31 8HT. Anglia Giving Limited is not itself a Charity because in UK charity
law even a not-for-profit organisation has to have its own 'charitable cause'.
Any surplus funds after operating costs have been covered are donated to Charities.
The Charity Vouchers scheme was originally introduced in May 2002 with the name
Charity Gift Tokens. The Norfolk Charity Vouchers service is a new development
based on the national scheme. The terms and conditions below are the same as
those used by the national service.
Voucher use
Each Norfolk Charity Voucher may be used once and once only in favour
of a nominated Charity. Anglia Giving Limited will pay the face value of each
voucher directly to the Charity concerned and will do its best to minimise any
other costs or overheads for the donor, service and the Charity in redeeming
the voucher. Charity Vouchers are valid for a minimum of five years from purchase,
after which time we reserve the right not to accept vouchers for redemption.
Refunds and cancellations
We'd like you to be very pleased with the Norfolk Charity Vouchers
service. If you have any complaints or queries or problems with your order,
please contact us and we'll do our best to
resolve them. If you are still unhappy with your order or wish to cancel it
for any other reason, you may return the unused vouchers and cards to us within
14 days of receipt for a full refund by posting them to: Charity Vouchers, FREEPOST
ANG30362, Burnham Thorpe, King's Lynn, PE31 8BR.
Internet security
This website uses the Worldpay secure payment service to process card transations.
Card details are encrypted while in transit over the internet; your web browser may display a notice
or padlock icon at the point where card details are entered to indicate this. Card numbers and other
details are at no time passed to Charity Vouchers.
In common with many websites, this website uses 'cookies', small temporary items of data
sent to your web browser, to keep track of who owns which shopping basket when orders are being placed on the site.
Your web browser must be set to accept or enable cookies in its security settings before you can place
orders on this site (your browser is probably already set to accept cookies and you'll not have to make
any changes). The cookies we use contain no personal information and are only used while
shopping on this site.
Privacy
We collect information about our customers for the purposes of completing transactions with them.
We may also, from time to time, choose to contact our customers by post or e-mail to inform them about
new services or special offers. If you do not wish to be contacted in this way, please let us know. No
information about our customers is passed to third parties.
When Norfolk Charity Vouchers are redeemed, the donors may choose
to give their contact details to us if they wish to have a receipt or further
information from their chosen Charity. We will pass these details, if given,
to the Charity concerned along with the donor's preference about whether or
not they would like further information from the Charity.
